What is the Ozlo Flex Subscription and how does it work?

The Flex Subscription is a service that lends you one pair of Ozlo Sleepbuds for a low monthly price. There are no commitments and you may cancel anytime by returning the product. If your device breaks or is defective, just let us know and we'll either help you get it working or swap it out for you free of charge.

How is Ozlo Flex different from financing?

The Flex Subscription is not a financing (i.e. "buy-now-pay-later" by Affirm, Klarna, etc.) nor a rent-to-own program, so you don’t have to commit to a purchase spread out over a period of time until fully paid off.

How do cancellations work?

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us. We will send you a pre-paid return label and pause any subscription payments for 7 days to give you enough time to pack and ship your item before your next billing date. You must use the packaging your order was originally delivered in. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time remaining on your subscription. If you don’t return your item, your subscription payments will continue as normal.

What is the return policy?

What is the warranty?

Ozlo Sleepbuds come with a 1-year warranty. In the EU and UK, that is extended to two years. See Details

Do they have noise cancelling?

Our Sleepbuds® feature passive noise cancellation to block out snoring and other disruptions. In addition, we offer “noise masking” audio content (think, white noise, ocean waves, babbling brook, etc) to cover up and replace any sounds that bleed through the passive seal of the comfortable silicone tips. This “block and replace” noise-masking technology is different from active noise cancellation, and our testing indicates that it’s more effective for the sleep use case in a bedroom environment.

Can I stream anything?

Yes. Ozlo Sleepbuds® can stream anything (Netflix, Spotify, Audible, Youtube, etc) that a normal bluetooth headphone can.

Do they have an alarm?

Yes, Sleepbuds® have a built-in private alarm which can be set up through the Ozlo app. The alarm doesn’t require the phone to be connected, and still works even in bluetooth disabled mode.

Is there a phone-free mode?

While a phone and an active bluetooth connection are necessary to initially set up and to stream audio, your Sleepbuds® can be configured to automatically play your built-in Sleep Sound as soon as you take them out of the case. No phone or bluetooth connection required.

What is the wireless range?

Ozlo Sleepbuds® have a range of up to 10ft (3 meters) from the Smart Case. The Smart Case has a range of up to 10ft (3 meters) from the source device (like a phone). This range may be reduced by physical obstructions, such as walls and doors, or by interference from other electronic devices. 

Does the Ozlo app work on Android and Apple Devices?

Yes, the app will be available for Android phones running Android 12 or later and Apple iPhones & iPads running iOS 16.4 or later.

    Snores-be-gone!

    I'm a very light sleeper, and have been even more so as I slip into perimenopause. I adore my husband and where we live, but between him and the late-night street noises, I lost a lot of sleep each night. My Sleepbuds arrived just a week ago, and I already feel the effects. Instead of waking and remaining unable to go back to sleep, I might wake a couple of times a night (bodies have needs, dang it!) and drift back off almost instantly. These are cheaper than a sleep study for your spouse or a bunch of plastic nose strips that pollute our planet. It was a win from every angle, and I'm so thankful to have found Ozlo.

    The best choice ever

    I purchased the sleepbuds 3 weeks ago and they are indeed of great help. I have a neighbour with a chaotic schedule and unfortunately his apartment bathroom walls are very close to my bedroom ones. While showering , the noise of water running through the pipes is so annoying and loud due to bad sound insulation.

    Well, that has been fixed now with the help of the sleepbuds. It takes a while to get used with them, but once you do, you’ll never want to sleep without’em. :)

    great improvement of the Bose sleep uds

    I was very unhappy when the production of the Bose sleep buds was discontinued. So it is great that with Ozlo I now have received a new and improved version of the sleepbuds. Great improvement that I can connect to Spotify or listen to a book before I go to sleep. Looking forward to try out the new feature that the sleepbuds detect I fall asleep and stop music or book.

    Essential item for travel

    I was an early adopter of the Bose Sleepbuds which unfortunately had a lot of battery issues. The Ozlo version are very similar but more comfortable to wear even though I’m a side sleeper. Another great feature is they also work as headphones which lets you listen to something else until you go to sleep and then automatically swap to sleep sounds. These have become for me essential for travel and sleeping in hotel rooms.

    Best buy ever!

    These earbuds have saved me from either divorcing or even perhaps smothering my husband as he sleeps ( I jest!). Excellent and very comfortable earbuds which totally block out my husband’s extremely loud snoring. I now manage to sleep through the night without disturbance. I swithered whether to spend quite a lot of money on them, but oh! they are worth every penny to me.

    Fantastic!

    I used the original Bose sleep buds and was so excited to learn about Ozlo in the Kickstarter phase. I immediately signed on as one of the first group of backers.

    After my first night I was thrilled! The ability to stream my own music and meditations through them was the best feature. They are comfortable and sound quality and masking are really impressive as I am now able to to have my husband sleep in the same bed.
